About Me
Alanna Turner is a game designer at EA Sports working on the Modes team for College Football. She is responsible for features including player and coach progression, recruit generation, and other new systems. Along with maintaining the quality of those designs, she works to create opportunities to prototype features.
Prior to EA Alanna was a game designer at the Army Game Studio in Huntsville Alabama. She earned her Master's degree in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University. In her spare time she explores how technology like natural language understanding, augmented reality, and virtual reality can enhance the experience of board games, miniature wargames, live action and tabletop role playing games, strategy games, and escape rooms. Her current work is on 3 dimensional strategy games using mobile AR, as demonstrated by his Space Pirates and Galactic Commander projects.
